Each month, the recruitment team at Medical Staffing Options steps back to recognize the incredible effort put forth by our travel nurses across the country. As we bid farewell to 2017, we’d like to take this opportunity to celebrate a nurse who has truly gone above and beyond for her patients, assigned healthcare facility, and MSO recruiter.
Please join recruiter Tony Schmidt and they entire MSO staff in recognizing Alene, our final Travel Nurse of the Month for 2017! Alene is currently on assignment in Pennsylvania.
Here’s what Tony had to say about this standout RN:
Alene was a successful traveler before joining the MSO team. She took some time off from traveling while she raised her two younger boys, and was excited to return to traveling once they had grown into young men. Her current facility has absolutely loved having Alene on its team, and asked if she would consider either a three- or sixth-month extension within her second week! Alene’s professionalism does not stop there, as she continues to be an absolute pleasure to work with.
During the beginning of our professional relationship, I learned Alene’s son had some unexpected medical concerns. Due to this, Alene decided to wait until she had more concrete information regarding her son’s health before interviewing for positions. A month went by until Alene knew her son was in a safe condition to begin traveling again. Her son is in his first year of college and has ambitions to become a doctor. I am excited to say he has been successful in school, his health is in good hands, and Alene has remained positive from start to finish. She is a true professional and has an unparalleled moral compass, which is why I would have full confidence in Alene’s nursing ability.
Please join the entire Medical Staffing Options team in thanking Alene for her exceptional work as a travel nurse!
